One more week to go before I close this Indian cha One more week to go before I close this Indian chapter and move on to the scottish one. This trip has been very different from every other I have had here before, it has felt deeper and more personal. It is always more about the space we create inside rather than the places we visit while we do. I am realizing that this is the life I have built for myself, 8 years old me would think I am so cool, 34 years old me is quite convinced she is right. After almost 2 years struggling with myself mental health, health as a whole, family and just life in general. I get to feel whole, happy, excited for the next chapter and ready to move into my next era. I am grateful to be able to release most of what no longer serves me in a place that is so deeply connected to my sense of self. I hope you find your peace, your community, the food that makes your soul happy, faith in yourself and rest to honor yourself. With love

I came to India on my own because I needed to feel better, I needed to symbolically close the cycle of difficult times I went through. So here I am working on my own terms in a country that rests my soul. It may sound cliche or cheesy but I came here because I trusted a stranger 7 years ago about the country. It’s not a fake spiritual awakening, or anything like it. I felt home almost immediately here, I still do.
